Casey Field Hockey Players Earn First Team All-Shore Honors for 2019

SHANNON TRINGOLA

School: Red Bank Catholic

Year: Senior

Position: Forward

Highlights: Tringola is one half of the dynamic duo that led the Caseys this season to a 15-5 record. She was a team captain for the third consecutive season. In 2019, she had 33 goals and 18 assists, which were both career highs. She holds school records for most goals in a season (33) and has career totals of 75 goals and 53 assists. She was an outstanding offensive player and will continue her playing career at Drexel University.

JULIANNE KOPEC

School: Red Bank Catholic

Year: Junior

Position: Midfielder

Highlights: Kopec was the other half of the talented duo that guided the Caseys to a successful season. Kopec was a team captain for the second consecutive season. Kopec was a reliable source of offense as she had 27 goals (which tied a career-high) and 16 assists (which was a career-high) this season. The Caseys were competitive with most of the top teams in the Shore Conference this season and Kopec was one of the reasons for that effort. For her career thus far, she has 54 goals and 30 assists. With a year left in her high school career, Kopec has already committed to playing field hockey and running track at Temple University.
