Red Bank Catholic sent 4 qualifiers and an alternate to the state regional tournament championship over the weekend. Freshman Davin Brewton was joined by sophomores Michael Palmieri and Sabino Portela, junior Daniel Conroy and senior Jake Louro. These student-athletes worked hard to make the cut with over 80 schools participating down to 16 positions.
Sophomore Sabino Portella became RBC's first back to back regional champion since Tom Seitz in 1974. Sabino won his match as a 3rd seed in the 170lb weight class. Copy and paste the following link into your browser to watch the match.
