Congrats to this year's first team All Shore selections for girls varsity lacrosse!

MACKENZIE BOYLE

School: Red Bank Catholic

Year: Senior

Position: Attack

Highlights: Boyle was the team’s MVP this season after she had 71 goals, 61 assists, 132 points, 125 draw controls, five forced turnovers and 21 ground balls. Her goal to assist ratio was one of the best in the Shore Conference. Boyle, a two-time captain, hit her 200th career goal and her 350th career point this season. Her best all-around game came in a 19-9 NJSIAA Central Group 2 semifinal win over Ocean Township on May 21. In that game, Boyle had six goals, four assists, 10 points, six draw controls, one forced turnover and three ground balls. For her career, Boyle finished with 222 goals, 171 assists, 393 points, 248 draw controls, 18 forced turnovers and 45 ground balls. Boyle will continue her lacrosse career at Jacksonville (FL) University.

GRACE GARGIULO

School: Red Bank Catholic

Year: Senior

Position: Midfielder

Highlights: Gargiulo was the team’s best midfielder. For the season, Gargiulo had 41 goals, 20 assists, 61 points, 54 draw controls, 16 forced turnovers and 54 ground balls while helping the Caseys go 18-5. Her best overall game this season came during a 16-3 win over Southern on April 27. In that game, Gargiulo, a team captain, had three goals, three assists, six points, five draw controls, one forced turnover and two ground balls. This season, she surpassed the 100th career point mark and completed only her second season of playing offense. Gargiulo will continue her lacrosse career at Franklin and Marshall College (Lancaster, PA).

REILLY TRAYNOR

School: Red Bank Catholic

Year: Sophomore

Position: Defender

Highlights: Traynor was primarily a defender last season and she became a full-time defensive-minded player this season. Despite being a top defender, Traynor still contributed to the offense with 39 goals, seven assists, 46 points, two draw controls, 25 forced turnovers and 35 ground balls. Traynor has already received interest from a lot of major Division 1 schools, according to her coach Troy Madison.

LINDSAY MAZZUCCO

School: Red Bank Catholic

Year: Sophomore

Position: Goalie

Highlights: Mazzucco is a two-time All-Shore first team selection and had a solid sophomore season. Mazzucco finished the 2019 season with getting her 200th and 300th career save. Overall, she had a 14-5 record, 134 saves, a .051 save percentage, 130 goals against and a 6.84 goals against average. For her career, Mazzucco is 33-8, has 305 saves, .542 save percentage, 258 goals against and a 6.29 goals against average. Mazzucco recorded double-digit saves against Kent Place, Manasquan, Rumson-Fair Haven and Ocean Township this season. Mazzucco is already drawing Division 1 college interest, according to coach Troy Madison.
