SHANE PANZINI SELECTED FOR MLB PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PIPELINE

RBC junior Shane Panzini joins his classmates in looking forward to the summer break, but for a different reason this year. Shane has been selected as one of only 80 high school baseball players nationwide by USA Baseball as part of their Prospect Development Pipeline collaboration to participate in an all star competition. He will be flown to Santa Clara California at the end of June and stay for 2-3 weeks. All of the athletes will be housed in California by USA Baseball. The players will be formed into teams to play a round of preliminary games. The top 40 athletes will be selected to play in an All Star game at Dodger Stadium. In addition to parents and coaches, the stands will be filled with scouts from Major League Baseball. Good luck Shane!
