Congrats to the wrestling team on a strong performance at the district meet over the weekend. Freshman Sabino Portella, senior Aidan Meyler-McAuliffe and sophomore Matt Cody all advanced to the region championship. Sabino qualified in the 160lb weight class and currently sits 28-4 on the season. Aidan is a two time region finalist and three time district medal winner. Matt qualified in the heavyweight class.
Three other wrestlers will be alternates after reaching the semi final round. They are sophomore Trevor Learn, freshman Michael Palmieri and senior Thomas Distefano. Congrats to the coaches and wrestlers!
