4. Red Bank Catholic (2014): The Caseys won the NJSIAA Nonpublic Group III championship with a 45-20 win over Delbarton at MetLife Stadium for their first NJSIAA championship since 1976. Red Bank Catholic had routed three-time defending Nonpublic III champion St. Joseph (Montvale) 44-14 in the semifinal.

The Caseys outscored their opponents 543-117 with the 543 points a Shore Conference record for a season.

Red Bank Catholic also extended its four-plus season winning streak against Shore Conference opponents to 40 before it was defeated 33-27 in overtime by Jackson Memorial. It also defeated Central Group V champion Manalapan 35-7 to snap the Braves’ 32-game winning streak against Shore Conference opponents.

Quarterback Eddie Hahn, who will be a graduate senior at Monmouth University this fall after transferring from the University of Connecticut, lineman Liam Smith and linebacker Jamie Gordinier led that team.
