Red Bank Catholic, 1975

In the era when publics and parochials were mixed (from 1973-81), the Caseys were the only girls parochial to win a state title. They did it twice, and 1975’s crown came in the “A Division” with the big schools. Sue Frentz and Diane McHugh scored big in the distances. Robin Brown (jumps) and Nancy Nielson (throws) also excelled on a team that had every event covered.

Red Bank Catholic, 1992

The Caseys racked up 125 points to win Non-Public A, one of the highest totals ever at the state group level, to prevail by 65 points. Erica Short (sprints), Mary Pat Erickson (distances) and Erica Lewis (jumps) brought home five gold medals, and Red Bank Catholic also picked up five silvers.
