SOPHOMORE CATE DESOUSA MAKES 2020 ALL SHORE CROSS COUNTRY TEAM

Year: Sophomore

One of two Shore Conference runners to finish under 19 minutes at the Holmdel Invitational, DeSousa placed ninth overall and second among Shore competitors with a time of 18:53. DeSousa captured a sectional title at the Non-Public South Championships and finished second to Colts Neck’s Lilly Shapiro at the Monmouth County Championships.

Congrats as well to junior Kate DeFilippis for earning second team All Shore recognition and the entire team and coaching staff who finished the season in the top 5 teams in the Shore Conference!
